Today KAA Design celebrates 23 years in business! We have come a long way since founder Grant Kirkpatrick established the company in his dining room in 1988. Now with 48 staff members and over 250 projects under our belt, KAA Design continues to evolve and seek new opportunities to build awareness about the power of design. Happy 23rd Birthday KAA!

Principal, Grant Kirkpatrick, has been welcomed as the newest member of The HeArt Project's Board of Directors. The HeArt Project is a Los Angeles-based organization whose mission is to combat the epidemic high school dropout crisis with a long-term, sequential arts program.

As a part of the USC School of Architecture's Summer 2011 XED Program, KAA's own Grant Kirkpatrick along with fellow course-coordinators Gerard Furbershaw (LUNAR) and Mark Rios (Rios Clementi Hale Studios) will be teaching a two-day course entitled Design Creates Value: Leveraging, Diversifying and Monetizing Design Through Alternative Design Practice Models.
